Harvest Festival
Every elementary student looks forward to the annual Harvest Festival held in October. It's the time for all  princes, princesses, cowboys, life-size pumpkins, ballerinas, and every other character imaginable to make their appearance. The Dunbar Gym is transformed into a scarecrow's dream with straw, pumpkins, and an array of fall decorations. Elementary students enjoy a variety of games, while they gather candy. Another highlight is the annual cakewalk by th e high school pep band. Elementary students walk in a circle while the pep band plays. When the music stops, if the student stops on the number that is called, they win a baked good. It is an evening of fun for all!
