Elementary –a time of beginnings: beginning to learn to read, to write, to add and subtract, and to enjoy others. It doesn’t matter how old you are, you always remember your elementary teachers and the joy of learning. Emmanuel elementary school is a place where learning and wonderful memories are made. Students learn the fundamentals of education and life in traditional classrooms. They learn everything from phonics to fun. Small-sized classrooms are taught by loving teachers. In addition, students go outside the classroom for gym, computer, library, and music. A private and safe playground behind the school is where our children burn off their energy. On snow or rain days, students have access to one of the two gymnasiums. Thursday is Chapel Day and the elementary comes together to worship God in an intimate setting. Each day begins with prayer and each class is taught from a God-centered world view. A Discovery Center and teacher is available for students who need extra attention and instruction. A Speech Pathologist is also available. Emmanuel is a safe place where the spirit, the soul, and the mind are nourished.

“With the Word of God as our truth and the Grace of God as our strength, the administration and staff of Emmanuel Christian Elementary School counts it a joy to instill in the hearts of the children the desire to continually strive to please Jesus in everything that they say and do. This effort encompasses all aspects of the school, academically, socially, and spiritually. The students are given opportunity to see Jesus in all areas of their daily schoolwork. They also seem Him as they use their God-given abilities in the areas of music (band, annual musical drama), athletics (soccer, basketball, baseball, running club), and competitions (speech, spelling bee, math olympics). It is our desire to have Christ at the center of everything we do.”
