Student Council hosts Annual Blood Drive
The ECS Student Council will be hosting its Annual Blood Drive with two dates for the 2011-2012 school year: October 19 and May 21. Donors must be 17 years or older and weigh at least 110 lbs. to be able to give blood. This may be the first time to donate for many of our students. Friends and family are also welcome to participate. If you would like to be a part of our blood drive this year, you can call and schedule an appointment by calling 1-800-GIVE-LIFE or by contacting the school office at 419-885-3558. Walk-ins are always welcome. You will need an ID, and you will receive a free T-shirt for participating.
The drive is coordinated by the Student Council who, along with the student body, recruits donors and assists in set up.
The October 19th blood drive was a resounding success! True to their word student Dean Christy and faculty member Bruce Snyder shaved their heads because of the number of individuals who signed up to give blood.
